Cornerstone Cellars Winemaker Interview
Just 10% of all vintners are women.
Why such low numbers? It’s difficult to predict exactly why. However the opportunity for women in wine is huge. In 2015 UC Davis reported that half of it’s Viticulture and Oenology students were women. The numbers are increasing and that is very promising. On this episode on Women On Wine TV we begin with an interview of Cornerstone Cellars of Napa’s Winemaker, Kari Auringer.
Learn how she became a winemaker of an exceptional Napa brand and what she loves about her job.
“I always love being in the company of women. It’s all about good conversation and great wine.”- Naomi Watts
