Have you tried this delicious frozen treat?
My Mom and I decided to give it a whirl this weekend and learned some ways to make it even more fabulous for your next fabulously festive fun soirée!
INGREDIENTS
1 (750 ml.) bottle of dry Rosé
2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
I recommend popping your fresh strawberries in the freezer for a couple of hours to thicken the mix up!
1-2 tablespoon granulated sugar – depending on how sweet you like it!
1/3 cup vodka
Fresh mint and a fresh strawberry to garnish each libation!
DIRECTIONS
- Pour the Rosé into ice cube trays and freeze until solid – about 8 hours. You can pop them in the night before, too!
- Combine the strawberries and the sugar in the bowl of a blender and let sit at room temperature for about 11 minutes.
- Add the vodka and rosé cubes.
- Blend the mixture on high until smooth.
- If you want to thicken it up – add some additional frozen strawberries or ice cubes.
- Pour into glasses and garnish with strawberries, if desired.
